The Small Business Administration, Google, Facebook, Square, and Constant Contact have teamed up to help small businesses get online and grow with a free holiday, live-stream workshop. This live-stream, broadcast from Google’s California headquarters, will take a deeper look at the evolving “local” landscape of online search, how this shift will impact your business, and Google will share tools that can help businesses stay ahead of the curve this holiday season.
The Shiawassee Small Business Development Center, Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce and Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership are hosting a viewing party for small businesses to get together and tune in. The Google live-stream presentation is coordinated by the I-69 Trade Corridor Region of the Michigan Small Business Development Center.
The free live-stream event will be on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at D’Mar Banquet & Conference Center in Owosso with lunch included. The session is limited to thirty participants and persons must register in advance. Attendees should arrive early, as the live-stream will start promptly at noon.
Small businesses are the growth engine of our economy, creating 2 out of 3 net new jobs. And businesses that are online grow 40% faster than those that aren’t. This workshop will help small businesses connect with more customers by helping them get online and on the map.
Persons may register at: www.sbdcmichigan.org and select “Google Marketing Wonderland in Shiawassee” for the local live-stream. For questions, please contact Cheryl Peterson, Shiawassee SBDC Consultant at 989-723-5149.
