Wednesday August 16th is Trojan Day!  Parents are strongly encouraged to attend Trojan Day events with their children.  Three sessions are planned; from 8 to 11am, from noon to 3pm and from 4 to 6pm.  At Trojan Day, Owosso High School students receive their official schedule, locker assignment and combination, and other important information for the upcoming school year.  Student schedules will not be mailed prior to the start of school on August 24th so it's essential that all students participate in Trojan Day.  Trojan Day make-up date is August 21st.

Owosso High School is ranked 75th in the state out of 1,575 high schools according to the 2017 U.S. News & World Report.  It ranks among the top 5% of high schools in the state and in the top 10% of high schools in the nation. Owosso High School was the only high school in Shiawassee County to earn a place in the 2017 top 100 Michigan high school list.

The Community Pep Rally will take place on Friday at Willman Field.  Gates open at 5pm and the festivities begin at 6.  The OHS Fall Sports teams will be introduced and engage the crowd in brief and entertaining competitions and Trojan pride prizes will be given to some lucky attendees. All activities and food are FREE!

Owosso Middle School will host an open house on Tuesday August 22nd from 4 to 6pm.  That same day, the district's elementary schools will host open houses from 5 to 7pm.

The Bentley Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Center open house will take place from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, August 23rd.  On August 24th: Welcome back, students!

An open house will be held at Lincoln High School from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday August 30th.
