Kazoo's validated a March 7th Corunna Now report while responding to comments posted on the Kazoo's Facebook page that same day, affirming that the business would be closing.

But in a surprising and welcome twist, Kazoo's announced on its Facebook page on Friday night that owners Paul and Jessica Dietzel would transfer ownership to longtime employee, Joel ("Joey") Macias. The change will be effective May 1st.
Macias has served as Assistant General Manager and Director of Field Operations for the past two and a half years, the Facebook post reads, and Macias has been a friend of the Dietzels for 20 years. “We believe that there is no better and more perfect fit to continue this rewarding business than our friend Joey.” said Jessica.
Jessica Dietzel will begin training Joey Macias in facets of the business of which he has not yet been involved beginning April 1st. Meanwhile, the Dietzels are moving in a new direction and said their plans will be announced soon.
